The Australian Association of Professional Hypnotherapists & NLP Practitioners Inc. AAPHAN is a non profit making organisation founded in 1993 which serves, protects and represents the professional interests of Hypnotherapists and NLP Practitioners.AAPHAN is incorporated within Queensland under the Incorporations Act 1981. (Reg No.IA13111)The Association’s headquarters are on Queensland’s Gold Coast, but its membership is spread throughout all the States of Australia and overseas.

Mission Statement

AAPHAN’s motivation is to bring Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) into the public eye, so that those who may best benefit from their use may have greater choice on which to base their life improvement decisions.

The Association’s aim is to promote the use of Hypnosis and NLP to members of the public, to other caring professions and to Governments.

The Association provides a professional forum for Complementary Health Care Practitioners and to those using these disciplines within the orbit of their lives and professions.

AAPHAN recognizes responsible, professional training programes and promotes the highest standards of practice.

The Association enforces the highest standards of ethical behavior within its practitioner membership.

Monthly meetings

Gold Coast – Qld

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each
month in the Bicentennial Hall of the Gold Coast City Council in Price Street, Nerang.

Brisbane – Qld

***LOCATION TO BE CONFIRMED *** LOCATION TO BE CONFIRMED Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Springwood Community Hall (The activities room) Cnr Cinderella Drive & Vanessa Blvd, Springwood.

Members can discuss current issues and practice their skills. Guest speakers are often featured and topics are presented to incite debate and ideas. Members of the public are also invited to attend.
Members in other towns and cities are encouraged
to form local chapters of the Association.
